🏕️🌍 What an incredible week at Poacher International Jamboree 2026! 🌍🏕️
What a week it has been for 14th Lincoln (St Giles)!
Our Scouts have spent an unforgettable week at Poacher 2026, throwing themselves into an amazing programme of activities, taking on new challenges, trying new experiences and making memories that will last a lifetime.
But Poacher wasn’t just for our Scouts! Our younger sections also got to experience some of the jamboree excitement through Junior Poacher, giving our Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs the chance to get involved, enjoy some fantastic activities and experience the atmosphere of a huge international Scouting event. ⚜️
One of the most special parts of the week has been the friendships made along the way. Our young people have met Scouts from across the UK and around the world, shared experiences, swapped stories and made new friends, showing exactly what international Scouting is all about. 🌎🤝
A massive thank you must go to our incredible leaders and volunteers who gave up their time to make all of this possible. From months of planning and preparation, to setting up camp, cooking, supporting activities, keeping everything running and looking after our young people throughout the week, events like Poacher simply couldn’t happen without volunteers. 💙
We’re incredibly proud of all our young people for embracing every opportunity, challenging themselves and representing 14th Lincoln (St Giles) Scout Group brilliantly.
They’ve come home tired, probably with a mountain of washing, but most importantly with new experiences, new friendships and countless memories that we’re sure they’ll be talking about for a very long time! 🏕️❤️
