IMPORTANT Message
FROM
BRIDGE Maternity Service

Belfast Health and Social Care Trust
Due to the unrest expected in Belfast this evening I am reaching out to reassure the global majority communities regarding access to the Royal Maternity Hospital this evening (9/6/26 and overnight). We have received approval to arrange taxis for any woman who needs to get to hospital this evening and overnight but feels scared to use public transport or walk. Please reassure women not to sit at home worried about your baby or in labour and scared to go out the door. Come to hospital and ask for help to get there if needed.

With one year to go until the ban on plastic-containing wet wipes, it’s more important than ever to understand the facts Wipes don’t break down like toilet paper

🚫 Wipes don’t break down like toilet paper
🚫 They’re a major cause of fatbergs
🚫 They can block pipes whether they contain plastic or not
