It was an evening of glitter, hot chocolate, sparklers, s'mores, and a few campfire songs for the Lightning Castors Beaver Colony as we celebrated an early Bonfire Night. Thank you to our Young Leaders and Parent Helpers for all their support.

Thank you to the Scouts and Carys for being at Tesco selling poppies for the RBL on Sunday.

That’s two weekends in a row 2nd Leyland have been out in the Leyland area representing our group volunteering for a very worthy cause.

Next week we will find out how much we raised over the two weekends.

Thanks again.

Tonight at Thunder-Kit Colony we had some Halloween fun 🎃 👻 We made slime cakes, decorated biscuits, and then bobbed for apples in water followed by bobbing for sweets in flour... It was messy but so much fun... even Wren got fully involved 😂

Magpie chose Ronnie to take Woody home tonight for the week to enjoy adventures with him 😊 🦫 ⚜️

Another great day with 2nd Leyland Scouts!

They did a great job at promoting our group and helping the RBL sell Poppy merchandise. We will find out after our Tesco Poppy selling session next week how much we helped raise.

Thank you to everyone that came. Hopefully we can do it again next year, it really is a great day!

I didn’t get many photos of the day but here are some.

Karl, Mark and Helen.

2nd Leyland Scouts had an amazing day at Alton Towers!

We are very proud of them all. They were very well behaved, polite, stuck together in groups, mixed well and bang on time for the end of day meeting time!

We hope they had a great day! They did their district and group proud!

Thank you to the district team for organising.

We look forward to the next trip!

Friendship and teamwork were in full force tonight as Lightning-Castor Beavers enjoyed a board games night. Every 10 minutes they had to switch to a different game or play with someone new to help forge new friendships and push them out of their comfort zone 😊
