2050 (Leyland) Squadron Air Cadets

2050 (Leyland) Squadron Air Cadets 2050 (Leyland) Squadron is part of a youth organistation called the Air Training Corps (ATC), which in turn forms part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.

The Air Cadets is for anyone aged between the ages of 12 and 17 who want to experience the thrill of piloting an aircraft and many other enjoyable activities such as camping, sports, adventure training and shooting.

Today our cadets competed in our Wings annual Wing Competition Day!

This consists of a series of competitions in different events, such and Drill, Archery and First Aid to name a few!

Out of the 30 various squadrons that competed in events, we placed top 3 in 4 events:

- First Aid: 2nd (2 points behind first!)
- Flight Sim: 3rd
- Media: joint 2nd
- Archery 2nd

These fantastic scores, plus our high scores in other events meant 2050 Leyland Squadron came 1st overall‼️

Thank you to all the cadets who trained hard, and the staff who help train them!
