How does Charles Merritt feel about his directorial debut?
"I think the right answer is excited - I’m really enjoying working with this incredible cast and crew to create a magical experience for children and adults alike."
"There are some musical sequences that I’m particularly excited about as well as some gags that I think are going to leave the audience laughing their heads off all the way home."

We caught up with the director for THEFT our latest production - Caroline Page.

Caroline said: “Why THEFT you might ask? Well it’s quite simple, I was in Natural Causes also written by Eric Chappell and loved it, so when I read THEFT I knew I had to give it a go. I have directed two recent pantomimes: Alice in Wonderland and Treasure Island and so really fancied trying a comedy thriller. It’s a very funny play including some wry observations about life in general. Two couples come back from a night out to find they have been burgled - seems simple enough but it is when the burglar infiltrates their relationships individually that tensions and the laughs start to come thick and fast.”

THEFT opens this Thursday! Tickets still available.

Superbly written by Eric Chappell (author of many TV sitcoms, including Rising Damp and Only When I Laugh).
