The HUB CIC was established in 2016. Team HUB provide this essential support within a stimulating and enjoyable person centred environment.

At The HUB we proudly support adults aged 50+ who are looking for friendship, connection, companionship, and social support. 💙
We provide personal and practical support in a warm, modern, home-from-home environment 🏠 We are a home from home Day Hub that provides all aspects of care and support for older adults, adults living with Dementia and adults living with learning disabilities. The HUB offers support & advice to Carers and provides essential day time respite. We work with many organisations to provide holistic solutions. We are one of Wigan Councils Ethical Providers. We are fully committed to the principles of supporting all people of the Borough to Age Well. We are situated within Little Rainbows 2 Day Nursery. HUB entrance is at the rear of the main building. Our service is open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 3.30pm

Office Hours 8.30am - 4.30pm

We are closed on all public holidays.

💜 HUB Carers Group: Living with Dementia 💜
Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of every month for our Living with Dementia educational session, delivered by the Memory Team.
These sessions provide valuable information, support, and guidance for those affected by Dementia and their families.

As part of our partnership working, The HUB offers two free spaces for carers, giving them peace of mind to attend the session while knowing their loved ones are safe, supported, and enjoying engaging activities.

The HUBBERs came together last week to celebrate Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead), a beautiful Mexican tradition that honours and remembers loved ones who have passed away 🌼

We had an amazing time making homemade pizzas with the HUBBERs .🍕 Everyone got creative with their toppings, and the results were absolutely delicious. Great food, great company and plenty of smiles all round! 😊

We had the cutest unexpected visitor yesterday! 🐾 Daisy came to collect Mum Alexandra Maiden from work, and she definitely stole the spotlight. Lots of tail wags, smiles, and cuddles all around! ❤️😊 🐶 Such a good girl 🥰

The HUBBERs have enjoyed two fantastic baking sessions recently, creating delicious individual cheesecakes and fairy cakes. Everyone had great fun getting involved, showing off their baking skills, sampling the tasty results! 🧁

All of the HUB CICs activities not only provide enjoyable learning experiences but also help HUBBERs develop valuable life skills, build confidence, express their creativity, and strengthen their sense of belonging within The community 🙌🌻
