Trailblazers is a person led, neurodivergent friendly space for LGBTQ+ and questioning adults to meet, hang out and make friends.
The activities that we offer include:

Our trained staff will also be around if youโd like to talk, need signposting to other support, or want to pick up some free gender & sexuality-affirming products.

We Are Explorers' Drop-In at Leigh Family Hub is a free, no-appointment service for anyone who needs support with being, or supporting someone who is, LGBTQ+, Neurodivergent, or both.
Pop in for a friendly chat, a comfy seat, and a brew, and we can help with:
โขโ โ Information about our LGBTQ+ social groups in Leigh
โขโ โ Signposting to and help accessing other groups and services
โขโ โ Support around being LGBTQ+ or questioning
โขโ โ Support around being Neurodivergent, or seeking a diagnosis
โขโ โ Support around being both Neurodivergent AND LGBTQ+
โขโ โ Finding out about our Access offer to help you join our social groups
โขโ โ Information about our training and consultancy services
โขโ โ Free items including LGBTQ+ affirming clothing, make-up and toiletries, transgender support items, HIV home testing kits, LGBT Foundation Safer S*x Packs, and accessible resources (some items will require parental permission for those under the age of 18).
Our drop-in is open to everyone of all ages, including families, support workers, and anyone who lives or works alongside someone who is LGBTQ+ and/or Neurodivergent.
We use a broad definition of Neurodivergent: anyone whose brain works differently to what's considered typical. This includes Autism, ADHD, mental health conditions, epilepsy, neurological conditions acquired later in life, and more. We fully welcome self-diagnosis and those who are still seeking a diagnosis.
No referral needed. Just come as you are.

Explorers Leigh is a free, youth-led social group for LGBTQ+ and questioning young people aged 11-18. We recognise a lot of LGBTQ+ young people are also neurodivergent, and we're ready to welcome you too, with fidget toys and sensory spaces.
At Explorers, you help choose the activities in a safe, low pressure space, with other young people just like you. There's cooking, crafting, gaming, gardening, sports, sensory activities, day trips, Pride celebrations, and more. Plus we're always well stocked up on free snacks!
All our Youth Facilitators and volunteers have lived experience of being LGBTQ+, and are here to support you, wherever you are on your journey. We're passionate about accessibility, including welcoming all SEND young people. Please email us if we can help you access Explorers better.
