Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armour of God, and ye may be able to stand against the Wiles of the devil.

When you first gave your life to Christ you hungered for the Word and you read the Bible every day and studied carefully, but now you just take a moment to skim over a verse and yet question what benefit is this to me. Let look at it like this, each day you take time to eat food which provides energy for physical activities, reading the Bible provides food for the soul, and without we become weak and defenceless and the devil pull you down.

The photograph's of earth recently from space cause us to see the stunning beauty of earth, it looks like a marvellous jewel against the black background is space. This reminds us that God is the Creator of all things and we are his special creation, perfectly and wonderfully made in his image.

when I read the Bible and study your word, it is at first complex story that spans the ages. But then I see your guiding hand behind the events that brought Jesus into the world and I see how his death and resurrection gave salvation to those who simply accept you by faith.
