🔴⚪️🔵 THE TWELFTH IN LARNE 🔴⚪️🔵

With this years Twelfth demonstration taking place here in Larne, and making its way through Boyne Square as part of the route, we would like to see everyone come out and celebrate in style. The first leg of the parade will pass along Herbert Avenue and Newington Avenue, before turning right on Glenarm Road. 🇬🇧

Once again, we encourage you all to mark this fantastic occasion by decorating your homes and gardens in traditional colours to give all visiting Loyal Orders and Marching Bands a proper BOYNE SQUARE WELCOME. 🇬🇧

FCF would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our cultural partners for their on-going work within the local community. Boyne Square continues to be a thriving community that is steeped in its cultural values and traditions. Many local groups, marching bands, societies and institutions work tirelessly each year, providing a various range of events and activities to ensure that our culture remains effectively embedded. 🇬🇧

BOYNE SQUARE FESTIVAL 2026

Line up times confirmed for this year’s festival in partnership with Boyne Square Bonfire Society on Sunday 12th July. 🔥🇬🇧

🔹 1:00pm-4:00pm: Family Fun-Day with lots of top inflatables, Face-painter, 5-aside football, plus free ice-cream van and goodies for all children. 🎪🍦

🔹 5:00-7:00pm: DJ Mark Dobbin + Clyde Valley Flute Band 1914. 🎧🥁

🔹 7:00-10:00pm: Beth Docherty live on stage + Constable Anderson Memorial Flute Band & Glenarm True Blues Flute Band. 🎤🥁

🔹 10:00-10:30pm: DJ Mark Dobbin. 🎧🎵

🔹 10:30pm-Midnight: Headline act Micky Modelle, supported by Simone Denny, the voice of Love Inc. 🎵🎤

🔹 12:10am: Lighting of Bonfire 🔥 🇬🇧

COMMUNITY CLEAN UP DAY

Join us this Saturday 27th June from 10:30am to take part in a community clean with various organisations from within Larne Cultural Network.

Representatives from local bands, lodges and societies will be weeding footpaths & road-sides, litter-picking and touching up paint work along Herbert Avenue, Greenland Drive, Lower Waterloo Road and Newington Avenue.

We are incredibly excited to announce that our 2026 Exhibition will be opened by a mass flute band parade through Larne 🥁

The mass band, made up of representatives of member bands, will parade from Larne Fire Station, up Main Street, finishing at the Market Yard for the official launch of the Exhibition 🎶

Please come out and show your support for all the local bands taking part 🇬🇧

WELCOME TO BOYNE SQUARE

New artwork installed this morning at Herbert Avenue in preparation for this year’s Twelfth demonstration that will be taking place here in Larne.

The mural includes the logos of all the cultural organisations based within the local community of Boyne Square.

We would like to thank all our various cultural partners who signed up to be involved in this project, and also to Signlink N.I. who designed and installed another fantastic piece of artwork.

JULY FESTIVAL DONATIONS NOTICE

Young men from our youth group will be out round the doors within the area tonight collecting donations that will go towards our annual July Festival that is provided free of charge for local residents and visitors each year.

They will also be delivering flyers detailing all information on this years festival.
