We're excited to announce the launch of the brand-new Kirkintilloch Townhead Market — a vibrant community marketplace showcasing the very best local businesses, makers and producers.

Come help us celebrate that we were awarded an amazing £7,939 from East Dunbartonshire Council and there Community Grant Scheme, allowing us to continue the cinema for another year, Sept 2026 - May 2027. 🥳🍾

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel our Saturday screenings.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and have sent refunds to those who have purchased tickets online.

We are back again with our scheduled screening on Friday 1st May with our Dementia Friendly - The Jungle Book (2016 Live Action) PG

Followed by our next mainstream and ASN screening on Saturday 23rd May.

Two decades after an identity crisis, Anna’s blended family faces new challenges. Tess and Anna discover their past may be repeating with the next generation.

Working in partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council’s Local Area Coordinators from Health & Social Care Partnership HSCP, our Spectrum Film Club ASN Friendly screenings are carefully structured to suit the needs of those living with Additional support needs and their carers. The hall is lighter with the volume reduced. Subtitles are on.

There will be friendly staff available throughout the movie for a wee blether.
These screenings are a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where we encourage chatting. We also have a fidget borrow box available to borrow items to help with self regulation.

We are back again with another Dementia Friendly Screening at the Kirky Cinema in the Kirkintilloch Town Hall, we will be showing The Jungle Book (2016 Live Action) as a Dementia Friendly screening at The Kirkintilloch Town Hall, Union street, doors open at 1:45pm for a 2pm showing on Friday 1st May.

Tickets are Adult £5, Child £3 and Carers go free.

Tea, coffee and cakes are available during the showing

Mowgli is a boy brought up in the jungle by a pack of wolves. When Shere Khan, a tiger, threatens to kill him, a panther and a bear help him escape his clutches.

Working in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland, our Dementia Friendly screenings are carefully structured to suit the needs of those living with Dementia and their carers. The hall is lighter with the volume reduced.
Subtitles are on.
