Well done to Ryan Hay and the Templehall United Blacks 2012 who won the under 15s Glasgow City Cup International Youth Football Tournament

A great weekend of football for the boys at a very well organised tournament, one they definitely look to take part in again next year!

A new season is here and we’re ready to go as we kick off our East of Scotland Football League campaign for 2026/27 at Whitehill Welfare.

Everyone at Kirkcaldy & Dysart FC is looking forward to the season ahead.

We’d like to thank all of our players, management, volunteers, supporters and sponsors for their continued backing.

Kirkcaldy & Dysart Under-20s got their 2026/27 season preparations underway with a hard-fought 2-1 victory against a tenacious Newburgh Under-20s side in a windy Kinross.

Early chances from Leo Malone and Daniel Goodwin and positive link-up play between Goodwin and full-back Blake Stein on the right wing set the tone for a first half largely controlled by Kirkcaldy & Dysart. The Under-20s were eventually rewarded for their dominance after 11 minutes with good build-up play from Blair Bowie and the lively Goodwin for Kian Simpson to slip a low shot under the Newburgh goalkeeper.

A defensive mix-up allowed Newburgh to equalise almost immediately. However, after a period of sustained Kirkcaldy & Dysart possession and pressure, including further chances from Daniel Duff, Ewan White and Steven Pate, Bowie restored the YM’s lead just before half-time. A long ball towards the centre circle ricochetted to Duff who threaded the ball into Bowie’s path to cooly dispatch past the goalkeeper.

Despite further chances from B Bowie, Simpson, Duff and Adrian Walus in a tighter second half, Kirkcaldy & Dysart were unable to extend their lead further in what was a positive first outing for the Kirkcaldy side.

Kirkcaldy & Dysart Under-20s continue their pre-season schedule with a visit to Jeanfield Swifts Under-20s on July 31st at Riverside, Perth (7pm kick-off) - all support is welcome.

It was a pleasure to welcome Stephanie Peacock MP, Minister for Sport, and Melanie Ward MP to Denfield last Saturday.

The visit provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work of Kirkcaldy Community Football Partnership, discuss our exciting plans for the new 3G pitch, and share our long-term vision of creating a first-class community football hub for Kirkcaldy.

We’re incredibly grateful to both Stephanie and Melanie for taking the time to visit and learn more about the project. We also want to extend our sincere thanks for their support and hard work in helping to secure the funding that has made this transformational development possible.

The future is looking incredibly bright for football in our community. ⚽🔴⚫️

£525,000 FOR DENFIELD PARK ⚽

This investment in our community from the UK Government will help deliver a full-size, all-weather pitch, floodlighting, perimeter fencing and associated facilities. This will give thousands of local players, including many more girls and women, a proper home to train, play and grow the beautiful game. I want to thank the UK Sports Minister Stephanie Peacock MP, who came to visit Denfield Park, and everyone at Kirkcaldy Community Football Partnership SCIO for making this happen.

I've seen first hand the drive and dedication of everyone involved in KCFP. This funding means their vision for a first-class community facility can finally become a reality. Securing the funding was a real team effort. It has been great to see the community come together to make this happen.
