FREE BEGINNER JUNIOR TENNIS SESSIONS

We're excited to share some fantastic news for young tennis players in your area!

We've partnered with the Fred Perry Tennis Trust to deliver FREE Parks Junior Tennis sessions as part of the 2026 Community Programme at Kingsway Park, Ashfield.

These sessions are perfect for children who are new to tennis or looking to build their confidence in a fun, supportive environment. All sessions are delivered by an LTA Accredited coach, and all equipment is provided-just turn up and enjoy!

Programme details:

⏰ 9:00-10:00am (Ages 6-7)
⏰ 10:00-11:00am (Ages 8-9)
⏰ 11:00-12:00am (Ages 10-11)

Join us for our market stall event where Health Organisations & local Support Organisations will be offering guidance & signposting to help Improve overall health & wellbeing in the community.

On Wednesday 25th March, We Do Tennis are hosting a free ladies’ tennis social session, open to all abilities.
The session will offer a relaxed and welcoming environment with free tennis, social play, and refreshments including tea and cake.
It’s a great chance for women to try tennis for the first time or get back into the game, while meeting others in a friendly setting led by our female volunteers.

A free fun filled-day from First Art, at Mill Waters - for everyone, not just girls!
Featuring:
• The Underpass Disco
• Guided art walks on the temporary art trail
• Maker activities including badge making
• BASH – a fun workshop bringing together self-defence, Zumba and disco

Everyone Active Champions Scheme 2026

You may have seen on our social media that we officially launched the 2026 Champions Programme on Friday, 20th February.
Applications are now open for both Sporting Champions and Community Champions. This is a fantastic initiative designed to provide:

The initiative continues to recognise, support and celebrate the incredible people who are making a real difference through sport, community impact, and colleague support. The scheme builds on the success of last year’s newly launched Community and Colleague Champions and applications / nominations will be open from 20th February until 20th March:
