Raising money for CHAS as part of Kinross High School’s Rotary Interact Club! Mrs Hepburn is running her first half marathon supported by Mrs Hunter. They have been training for several months. Mrs Hunter has run this event before and will be trying for a PB.

We would really appreciate your support to help us raise as much as we can for CHAS.

Interact Club will also be hosting a stall at the finish line which will also be raising money for CHAS. We would love for you to come along to support on the day!

If you would like to sponsor them please click on the link below. Or go along and support them and enjoy a bit of fun at the Interact stand on Sunday morning at Kinross High School. A big thank you to Shona Mitchell from our club for helping organise the Interact stand and collaborating with Kinross High School and the Interactors ###

We are delighted to have Kinross-shire Trishaws and Community Cycling SCIO on board as our first corporate membership, this will be a fantastic partnership. We are also really looking forward to the Rotarians joining up with the Trishaws for a cycle after our breakfast meeting on the 16th June, it should be a bit of fun and a good way to be introduced to all the fleet.

If any local business or charity organisations would be interested in having a corporate membership with our rotary club, please pm me for more information.

Our George Sutherland was presented with the prestigious Paul Harris award last night, for his services to our Rotary Club. He has played an integral part in setting up the Trust, compliance and finance. George has been our treasurer for nine consecutive years, and is staying on to assist the new treasurer next year. His attention to detail is second to none and he keeps us all on our toes and on budget. He is a very highly regarded member of our team, so a huge well done George and well deserved. Xx

We received a lovely email from him this morning showing how truly grateful he was. It was an honour. Xx

That’s a second lot of three full boxes of recycled glasses delivered to York. Thank you to Brian Timms for delivering today and thanks to the community for supporting this project. Please remember that all unused glasses can be dropped off at the following stations:
Doctors Surgery, Opticians in Kinross and Milnathort, Swimming pool, library, Kirklands hotel and Sainsburys.

Thanks again for all your support.

Our rotary club are recycling any old specs anyone may have that they no longer use. We have recycle bin stations at the opticians in Kinross and Milnathort, the Doctors surgery and Sainsburys. They will then get collected and taken down to York to be prescribed and finally get sent to Africa to be reused. Many Thanks.

What a great night at the Casino and Curry night in the Rugby Club on Saturday night. We managed to raise over £1500 for the CHAS sensory room project. A huge thanks to Angus Glen Rotary Club for making it such a fun night with the casino event, thanks to Paul for the amazing curry, thanks to CJ and Chris who did a great job behind the bar and to all the Rotarians who helped making it run so smooth. I would also like to say a huge thank you to the rugby club for allowing us to host it there and to everyone who bought a ticket to support us and make it such a successful evening. ###
