This was the start to our Monday morning. Fran ringing us to say Buzz was in a hole, Of course it was Buzz. She stayed by his side while Daz cleared the undergrowth and took the fencing down. Hannah and Tracy rushed in while calling local farmers, vets and the fire service. The fire service called the animal rescue unit. He had a vet with him all the time.
The sides of the hole weren’t stable so Ed from next door came over with a tractor with a longer reach to safely get him out.
We couldn’t see what damage he had under the muddy water. Thankfully it was cuts and grazes. He is definitely part cat with 9 lives.
All the services were fantastic.
He is on steroids, pain killers and vitamin e. We are monitoring the muscle enzyme levels.
We have left it til now to tell everyone to ensure he was out of danger.
He never once struggled and was super calm.
We can not thank everyone involved enough.
