🤝 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! (Calling all Hymers Helpers!) 🤝

The HCA Garden Party is officially happening on Saturday, June 27, and our parent committee is busy pulling it all together! But to make the day run smoothly, we need a little bit of backup.

We are looking for a fantastic crew of volunteers to help us out on the day. Whether you can spare just one hour or want to dive in for the whole day, we would absolutely love your help!

How you can get involved:
* 🎯 The Game Masters: Supervising and running our classic games stalls—keeping the energy high and handing out prizes!
* 🍰 The Bakers & Makers: Helping out on the refreshment or cafe areas.
* 🎟️ The Welcomers: Pointing people in the right direction and welcoming families as they arrive.
* 🎪 The Setup/Pack-down Crew: Helping us put up a few gazebos or tidy up at the end.

It’s a brilliant, low-pressure way to meet other parents, be part of the community, and help create a fantastic day for the kids. Plus, we promise plenty of laughs and a great atmosphere behind the scenes!

The HCA parent committee is officially counting down to the Hymers Garden Party on Saturday, June 27, and the planning is in full swing!

Are you the spreadsheet wizard of your family, or the go-to person for calculating the restaurant bill? 🧾✨ We need you!

The Hymers College Association (HCA) is searching for a new Honorary Treasurer.

We know what you might be thinking: "I don't have time for a big financial responsibility!" or "What if I get it wrong?"

Let’s dispel the myths! This is a manageable, supportive role, perfect for a current parent.

What it actually looks like:
⏰ Low Commitment: We are talking just 2-3 hours a month. Most work is term-time and fully manageable around a job or family.
💻 Digital & Simple: It involves overseeing online banking, paying some event invoices, and keeping our basic spreadsheet healthy.
🤝 Total Support (The Safety Net): Our fantastic outgoing Treasurer isn't disappearing! They are staying on the committee to provide a complete, stress-free handover. You won’t be alone.

Why it matters:
Without a Treasurer, the HCA cannot operate. From funding junior discos to upgrading theatre lighting and sports equipment, every penny we raise and manage goes straight back into enhancing the student experience across all years.

If you are a spreadsheet enthusiast, small business owner, or great with budgets, please consider joining our friendly committee. You’ll make a huge difference, meet new friends, and actively support the school.
