Loads of fun at Hidden Disabilities Games club, as always! 😁 It’s every Wednesday evening. Check out this week’s bowling club 🎱 photos below and some from last year to give you an idea of what to expect if you would like to join us👇👍

We have members bowling in wheelchairs, with walkers, walking sticks, crutches or no aids. All abilities welcome, we are not a competitive group (except Suzella 😆) but very friendly ☺️

Not all disabilities are visible.
There are many different types of hidden disabilities — from chronic pain and mental health conditions to neurological and sensory differences.

At Hidden Disabilities, we advocate for and support individuals facing a spectrum of hidden disabilities, with a primary focus on Autoimmune Diseases, Chronic Pain & Fatigue Disorders, Mental Health and Neurological Disorders.

We understand that these conditions, though not always visible, significantly impact daily lives.

Within these categories, we are initially concentrating on several specific challenges: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME), Epilepsy, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS), Fibromyalgia, Lupus, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS).

Each of these conditions presents unique hurdles, from the debilitating fatigue of CFS to the intricate challenges faced by those with autoimmune diseases. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive platform that addresses the multifaceted aspects of these hidden disabilities. Through awareness initiatives, educational resources, and empathetic support networks, we strive to create a community where individuals can find solace, understanding, and the strength to navigate their unique journeys.

Understanding is the first step to inclusion.
