This time next week our Come Round For Tea! Great Get Together will have kicked off at Maurice Rawling Communiry Centre! This is all about celebrating our community and everyone is welcome!

Everything is completely free and we’ll have:

⚽️Outdoor games
🪏Gardening
🦋Hull Butterfly City

Come and join us for The Great Get Together 2026 at the Maurice Rawling Community Centre.

Inspired by the values of Jo Cox, this is a chance for neighbours, friends, families, and community groups to come together, share a cup of tea, enjoy good company, and celebrate everything that makes our community special.

Bean Street, off Anlaby Road, Hull

There will be:

Just to let everyone know, it will be our last “warm space event” this morning at the centre. The funding ran out in March and we have funded the event from centres funds. We would like to thank all our volunteers, helpers and supporters. We would like to also thank the majority of our patrons too and wish you all well. The committee….Look out for another event in the winter when funding is awarded.

Congratulations to Mark and Andy from the Maurice Rawling Community Centre who received an Asda Foundation grant of £1,000.

The centre will use money to deliver hands-on nature and wildlife activities by providing the materials and resources needed for children to explore, learn and create during the half term sessions.

Hi guys only nadine here,
I'm just announcing my departure from Maurice rawlings as the warm space comes to an end.
I have absolute loved my time with you all helping you all & i hope I managed to make a positive difference to all your lives the way you guys did mine.
I want you all to keep the momentum going of making positive changes to your lives.
Monday session will be ran by Louise now.
Don't be strangers guys & thank you so much for allowing me to come in & try to make a positive difference to the community.

Just a reminder that there's no mindful Monday today my little boy is off poorly & we're 3 volunteers down this week, see you all next Monday, nadine
