Company Section:

Last month our Company Section along with the rest of our Company were showing off their learned skills from throughout the year.

It's been a busy year for the section with overnight camps, entering new competitions and staying strong as ever with 31 members in the section!

Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of the Cat Walk so parents and friends please feel free to post as many pictures as you'd like in the comments below!

Two big awards of the night were handed out this year to Cpl Josh Duffin and Cpl Danielle Empson! This year Josh and Danielle received the second highest award available to a young person in the brigade, the Presidents Badge! A well earned award and a massive well done to both Josh and Danielle. Cpl Josh has been part of the company for 11 years and Cpl Danielle has been part of the company for 5 years since the introduction of girls in the company in 2021. Both of these Presidents Badge recipients will now go on to hopefully earn their Kings Badge, we wish them both all the best on their next adventures in the Brigade.

Anchors 2025/2026 complete ✅️

Well done to all our Anchors this year, it has been great to watch them all grow over the session in their own way.

Thank you to all the people that have helped over the session.

Lastly a huge congratulations to Liam and Cameron from all the Anchors in gaining your Kings badge last week. You have both grown in confidence over the last 2 years and really got involved with everything. The Anchors will truly miss you.

Last Friday our Junior Section took part in the Company Display 2026.

Over the year our juniors have been getting involved in a lot of different activities from going on an outdoor camp, 2x indoors camps (one with the rest of the battalion juniors), taking part in the remembrance parade, the carol service, taking lead in our very own pantomime and much much more.

That's why this year all of our Juniors have received the Get Involved badge as part of their badge work.

Most improved Junior - James
Best Junior overall this year for the very first time went to 2 people - Aria and Lacey (it was just too close to call).
A massive congratulations to all!

This year we were also very lucky to be able to present 7 Gold Badges and Promotion Certificates.

On the night our juniors showed off their marching skills and their ability to think on their feet as they took part in Taskmaster style challenges.

On Friday night Our Anchors Section took part in the Companys' annual Display.

It's the first year that all 3 sections have been together in a while and we couldn't have been happier.

This year our anchors section had 7x 1st stage Green Badges, 3x 2nd stage blue badges and a whopping 14x 3rd stage Red badges to hand out.

On the night our Anchors displayed their amazing dancing skills to their parents and friends and we absolutely loved it!

Special congratulations to our best Recruit: Maisy, our most improved: Eilidh and Logan, our anchor with the most Tokens handed out thought the session: Fern, the best Team award: Team Luxemburg, and our best Anchor of the year: Alex.

Well done to all this year you have been absolutely fantastic!

Should also mention our mascot Tully also got his 1st stage badges at the awards too! Well done Tully.

Display Night 2026 was a great success with all 3 sections once again together to celebrate our 85th session.

Below are a quick few pictures from the night to help summarise what happened at a very eventful display.

Last night we were very lucky to be able to award 3x Kings Badges, 2x Presidents Badges, 5x Gold/Juniors Promotion awards and 9x Red/Anchors promotion awards.

Throughout the next few nights we will celebrate all these and many more amazing achievements one by one.

A massive congratulations to all who took part, thank you to all who come along to support us on the night and well done to all who were awarded their badges & trophies throughout the night.

Lastly the biggest congratulations again to our 3 amazing kingsmen!

Yesterday our Band was in Edinburgh parading, we joined together with 25th Stirling (Dunblane) Boys' Brigade and Boys' Brigade Edinburgh, Leith & District to provide music for the Guard of Honour for Lady Elish Angiolini, the Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of Church of Scotland.

On Saturday our Company along with those from Dunfermline and District Battalion, Boys' Brigade attended Pitreavie Athletics Centre for our annual Sports Day.

Well done to 3rd Dunfermline Boys' Brigade for both their Company and Junior Sections winning the overall points for both sections for the day!
