The biggest event in the lifesaving calendar is coming… and KENT IS HEADING TO THE NATIONAL FINALS 2026!🏆🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Our amazing Kent members will be competing against the best lifesavers from across the country — and we want to make sure they have the loudest support in the building! 📣🔥

☀️🔥 WHAT A DAY, KENT BRANCH! 🔥☀️

What a fantastic afternoon bringing so many of our Kent Branch family together from across the county. Plenty of food, plenty of laughs and lots of catching up! 🍔🌭😂

A special shout-out to Andy Godden-Hunt, our Current President, and Adam, our Duty President, who swapped the presidential duties for BBQ chef duties! 👨‍🍳🔥

We were also delighted to welcome some of our Past Presidents, making it a brilliant mix of past and present Kent Branch members. 🙌

The kids absolutely loved the bouncy castles 🎈 — while our Newfs stole the show as always! 🐕‍🦺🌊❤️

🌊🇫🇷 What a swim! What an achievement! 🇬🇧🌊

RLSS Kent Branch were incredibly proud to be there to support the team as they took on the English Channel in an unforgettable relay.

In an incredible 6 hours 55 minutes, they smashed the British record by 22 minutes, coming just 3 minutes short of the relay world record! 🏊‍♂️👏

Our Kent Branch President, Andy Godden-Hunt, was there to support the team, alongside Past President Lorraine. As a keen open-water swimmer himself, Andy understands the challenge of taking on the Channel and the sheer determination needed to swim in such demanding conditions.

It was fantastic for Kent to be there to witness such an incredible achievement and to support a challenge that is raising money for something so close to our hearts — keeping people safe in and around water. 💙

The team have already raised an incredible £8,032, which could help provide vital water safety education to 2,677 children. 👏

🌊🏄‍♀️ What a fantastic morning on the water! 🛶☀️

Our RLSS Kent members had an amazing time at our Paddle Boarding & Kayaking session at Chatham Maritime Watersports Centre!

The kids had an absolute blast — getting out on the water, having fun, learning new skills and, most importantly, staying safe while doing it. 💙

It was also brilliant to meet up with members from other RLSS clubs across Kent, making new friends and building those connections within our RLSS family. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the morning such a success. 👏

And of course, we couldn’t finish without a family & friends picnic! 🧺🍓
