This evening, 348 took a trip to the MasterChef kitchen ‘Adventure Training’ style (more adventurous for the judges having to test out the items!).

Organised into three teams, cadets had to cook up a starter, main, dessert and accompaniment for presentation to a panel of esteemed judges - CWO Bilby, SGT Bryant, SGT Quinney, FS Burton and CI Hopwell.

CWO Bilby - upon surviving taste testing - said “Excellent effort by all this evening, I am relieved to have been surprising not poisoned”.

The winning team - with a total score of 13 out of 15 - goes to ‘Lettuce Entertain You’. Very well done!

A huge congratulations to Sgt Bryant and Cpl Parry who braved RAF Wittering this weekend to successfully complete their Silver Leadership qualification.

This wing-led course explores the higher level of leadership senior cadets are expected and encouraged to exhibit both on and off the squadron. The course blends a mixture of theory and practical sessions to promote well rounded and professional young leaders - a skill useful in both civilian and military life.

Senior NCOs at 348 have a direct impact in the delivery of Leadership CPD on the squadron, assisting the staff Leadership Lead and NCO IC in planning and executing training exercises.

A huge congratulations both!
