Whilst I (jenny) was helping on our second l1 some of the operational handlers and new trainees got together to train, team building is part of our successful group.

Keeping all our dogs motivation high is paramount especially after any searches

A fantastic 3 days on our second level 1.

The dogs were amazing, a fantastic group of people all wanting to get their dogs up and tracking to help others.

Now to implement the skills learnt further .....

We hope to see them all for their level 2 at the end of the year.

Fabulous first day of our level 1 lots of different types of dogs and all 8 smashed it.

Level 1 group 2 underway

Tomorrow starts the second and final level 1 we are hosting this year, we can't wait to get Claire back.

What's exciting about this group is they are coming from all over the country 💪💪

Whilst our team covers Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire there is the bigger Lost Dog Tracking Network. We are hoping these new dog and handler teams progress and eventually pass to cover areas currently without any tracking dogs available.

Do you know we have a wish list. Items purchased will be delivered directly to us.

Our training and operational tracks mean we use ALOT of zip lock bags. To stop contamination they are single scent only. So we are doing out bit and trying to use biodegradable bags.

Energy and recovery bars for the dogs as tracking is very demanding on them and burns calories.

Ldtd Beau completed his second operational track this morning and was joined by Ldtd Woody on his first.

Both dogs provided information which was passed to Notts lost dogs - SAR who are heading the search..
