Over the last few months, we have been bringing people together through a series of visits to different places of worship.
Most recently, members of our community visited the Hindu temple, where they had the opportunity to learn more about the Hindu community, its faith and traditions, while building meaningful relationships with one another.
What made these events particularly special was that most of those attending had never previously visited these places of worship. Each visit offered an opportunity to step into an unfamiliar space, ask questions, listen and better understand our neighbours.
This is what building a stronger looks like: not ignoring our differences, but learning about them, respecting one another and standing together despite them.
A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed us and to all those who joined us throughout the series. Together, we are helping to create a more connected and united community.
