🦁Lions Exchange Students 😊

What a pleasure and privilege it was too have 3 Students this year Ayaka from Japan, Sheron from Hong Kong and Shayle from USA.

Many thanks go too Nivin and Ray for housing them and showing them some of the sights. It was so nice to sit down and get to know them sharing our differences of culture and some similarities. (Even if we didnt agree about if its called football or soccer 🤣)

And learning that ayaka is already a Leo 🦁 once again an absolute pleasure and hope they enjoyed it. We look forward too next year when we shall hopefully have more students.

MJF AWARDED 🦁

Huddersfield Lions proudly presented Nivin Milne with a MJF (Melvin Jones fellowship) award. Without Nivin saying no and agreeing to stay on as President and Treasurer for two years the club would have closed so to her we say thank you.

Thanks to Nivin, the club kept on going which allowed Past President Hannah to take over for two years, helping the club grow to what we are now ❤️
