So...how do we choose the films we show?

Did you know that the films we show are suggested by our audience?

Over the years we've built up a long list of recommendations, and every month we select four films to go forward for a vote.

Before a film can make the shortlist, it must be available for public screening through Filmbank Media, we need to be able to obtain a copy, and it must have a Rotten Tomatoes score of at least 50%.

On screening night, our audience votes for their favourite from the four shortlisted films. The winning film then becomes next month's screening.

Have you got a film you'd like to see on the big screen? 🍿
Then just come along to one of our screenings and fill in a suggestion slip. Your choice could be the one we're watching some time soon!

Our next film, in an extremely close vote by tonight's audience, is Their Finest starring Gemma Anderton, Sam Clafin and Bill Nighy.
Showing on Friday 30 October.
Tickets are £5 (cash only) on the door.
Doors open 6.30pm, the film starts 7.30pm.
Please bring along your own drinks and picnic/snacks.
A great opportunity to watch a film on a big screen in Hoylake with a real community feel.
Come and join us and see why some people have been coming along for the 3 years we've been going.
All our profits go to Hoylake Parade Community Centre.
