Weekend round up ✨️

Our 3XI were under the Friday night lights this week against Bangor. Holywood dominated the possession for the majority of the game but couldn't capitalise on their chances. 0-0 at half time. Holywood came out strong in the 3rd quarter and a one-on-one with the keeper by Clare Johnston resulted in Holywood finally taking the lead. Bangor responded and got a PC which ultimately resulted in them equalising despite multiple impressive saves from both keeper and defence 🔥

Our 1XI were away to Castle 🏰 It was end-to-end stuff and both teams were evenly matched from the off. 0-0 at half time and we knew that Castle always come out strong in the second half. Holywood were rewarded for their hard work going 1 - 0 following a well worked goal. The Ladies kept the pressure on and secured a PC which saw them go 2 - 0 up following a stunning strike from our Karen 💪🏼
POM - Fran ✨️

Our 2XI had the home fixture this weekend against Banbridge. Our Ladies knew they were in for a fast paced & physical match. It was a great team performance with everyone putting the work in. The Ladies kept us waiting with all the goals coming in the second half. A PC got Holywood off the mark with a strike from Becca 🔥 A second PC was converted by and a second goal for our Becca took the score to 3 - 0. Banbridge were rewarded for their hard work and managed to get 1 back. Final score 3 - 1.

WONDER WEEKEND FOR OUR LADIES; 3 OUT OF 3 WINS ✨️

Our 2XI were under the Friday night lights this weekend; Taking on South Antrim. The match was fast paced and end-to-end, but it was Holywood who were able to find the net on three occasions 💪🏼

Our 1XI were away to Newry for their match. It was a close game, with the score 0-0 going into the final quarter. But our Ladies kept their discipline and their patience paid off, managing to secure the victory with one lovely goal! 🏑

And finally our 3XI were at home against Saintfield. Our Ladies were dangerous on the attack and converted their chances into 2 goals; including a lovely overhead strike from a PC. Against the run of play, Saintfield got an opportunity on goal and took it, bringing the score to 2-1 👏
