How prepared is the UK for the security risks created by biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse?

I opened Extinction Rebellion UK's Love and Rage festival with a talk on the suppressed National Security Assessment on Global Biodiversity Loss and Ecosystem Collapse.

This is a Frank appraisal of what is in the suppressed reports on ecosystem collapse and the vulnerability of our critical systems in the U.K.

A central tenet of XR has always been to tell the truth. The truth is being kept from us.

How prepared is the UK for the security risks created by biodiversi...

Hello Friends
I had heard of the Council of All Beings as part of Joanna Macy’s The Work that Reconnects and had always wanted to do this. So I was excited to be able to attend an event run by Networking through Nature earlier this year. I can highly recommend this day to anyone who is interested in climate and nature and would be happy to chat about it.

It was a beautiful day under the trees in Panshanger Park, near Hertford. The day was shared with other like-minded folk as we connected with nature and each other. The main element of this process was to feel so connected with one being that you imaginatively and creatively inhabit their experiences. You are then offered the opportunity to speak on their behalf at a Council of All Beings, where it was fascinating to hear the perspectives of the other Beings present. I represented a Silver Birch!

The next gathering is on Sunday 25th October, 10am-3pm at Mudlarks Forest School in Panshanger Park. Accessible pricing offers a subsidised, standard or pay it forward ticket price. However, if the cost of a ticket would be a barrier to anyone coming, please contact Steph to discuss payment options. If people would like more information or to book, they can do so via the website - https://www.networkingthroughnature.co.uk/events-1-1/council-of-all-beings. Or if they have any questions they can contact Steph on - [email protected]

Recently the government commissioned TWO MUST READ (but censored or suppressed) reports - please READ and SHARE:

1.DEFRA/MI5/MI6/GCHQ delayed/censored report:
a. ITV exclusive on the report - 9 mins of MUST SEE content: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59DZiPdsOc8
b. The report itself - 14 pages of MUST READ content - heavily redacted by the government; the civil unrest sections have been removed. https://www.gov.uk/.../nature-security-assessment-on...

2. A Times article about a different unreleased report from the DEFRA Futures team: https://rupertsreads.substack.com/.../our-national-food... "climate change, habitat loss and geopolitical instability are undermining Britain’s food security to such a degree that it could be “at strategic risk of catastrophic failure“ by 2030".

ITV News has seen a classified government intelligence report which...

Love & Rage was an incredible weekend to demand that the government publish the full, unredacted National Security Assessment. There were talks, workshops, actions, food and friendship. The amazing drummers accompanied the Red Rebels whilst they visited the Wreckers of the Earth. Performances from Burning Ballroom, Discobedience and the Climate Choir. And finally the big march on Monday visited Downing Street and Tufton Street, in XR's famous creative style! 🩷🔥

Another question on Any Questions about climate change again - 'glaciers collapsing, forest fires raging, should we allow limited expansion of North Sea oil and gas? '
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0030nfj
Another great opportunity to make the whole of Any Answers about climate, BBC bias and NEB etc. We all need to flood the Any Answers platforms again. It would be ideal if it was all climate experts who know what they are talking about (as opposed to most of the panellists) so that this 'debate' can finally be put to bed.
