WE ARE

THE MELODY MAKERS. If you want to join a Choir that is different from the more traditional Choir, come and join us!! Message us for more information.

Formed in June 2010 at the Methodist Church in Cascade, the Melody Makers now rehearse in Ystrad Mynach. Singing hits from popular music to Broadway and West End Musicals, we believe our repertoire truly has something for everyone.

🎃🧡 MONDAY MOOD: HALF-TERM BREAK! 🧡🎃

There’s no Melody Makers choir tonight as we’re taking a little break for half-term! 🎶

Time to put down the song sheets, give our voices a rest and enjoy a bit of Halloween fun. 👻🍬 Whether you’re carving pumpkins, dressing up, spending time with family or simply putting your feet up, we hope you have a lovely week!

Don’t eat all the sweets in one go… we need you back full of energy for our next rehearsal! 😂🍫

🎤 We’ll be back next week, ready to sing, laugh and make more music together! ❤️

👇 Melody Makers members, tell us what you’re up to this half-term! Are you dressing up, getting creative with pumpkins, enjoying a well-earned rest, or busy practising your Christmas songs ? 🎃🎶🎄

If you’re interested in seeing what we’re about, we’ll be inviting any newbies to come along after our busy festive period is over to come along in January - so get that reminder in your calendars!! 😃

Have a lovely week, everyone. See you next Monday! ❤️

🍰☕ MONDAY CHOIR… AND A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA! ☕🍰

Tomorrow night is our Tea & Cake Night — and we’ve got even more goodies to tempt our members with! 😍

Our lovely Eira has been busy in the kitchen making lots of homemade jam and chutney to help raise funds for the choir. 🫙❤️

We absolutely LOVE the support and generosity that goes into making our choir what it is — from singing together to baking, making, fundraising and everything in between. 🎶

Always our favourite Monday (first one of the month) where we can to swap books, eat some delicious treats and have a catch up over a cuppa before our rehearsal starts!!

So see you all tomorrow have a sing, enjoy some tea and cake… and maybe take home a jar (or two!) of our homemade goodies. 😋

New members will be welcome in January 😃!!
