Red Roof Nursery

The children had a wonderful time celebrating Halloween in nursery🎃 They enjoyed coming dressed up in their spooky costumes, and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the pumpkin. They used their motor skills using spoons to scoop out the flesh and the seeds, and said it smelled like pumpkin pie! We enjoyed the feel of it, and didn't mind getting our hands sticky.
We had a lovely (non) scary day 👻😊

Morning All, Just a heads up that we have electrical problems this morning, I do not know how nursery is affected until I get there but I will keep you all posted as soon as I know,
Thank you.

To make the most of the lovely autumnal weather we are having, we had a little adventure to Carr-Ellison Park, which is fortunately on our doorstep.
We explored the Autumn leaves, and tress, spotting lots of fallen coloured leaves, and managed to spot lots of cheeky squirrels scampering about. We were very careful not to scare them too much!
We finished off with a little play in the park, and loved the swings 😍
We were all a bit tired when we got back to nursery for a well deserved snack and drink 😊

The Red Roof Nursery children LOVE a bit of messy play, and exploring their creative side. From Sensory play exploring the gloop, to making our own fantastic artwork.....The messier the better 🤩
These activities promote their creative side, physical development of fine motor skills, and and imagination, alongside being thoroughly enjoyable, and creating some masterpieces for nursery and home.
😍
