Some of our ladies had a delightful visit to the beautiful gardens at Helmingham Hall today plus lunch in the courtyard!! The gardens were as stunning as always and lunch was delicious!!!

Ladies - our next meeting is on Wednesday 3rd June at 7.30pm in Haughley Village Hall where we will be having an enlightening talk on Garden Ecology by Robert Kitchen from the British Trust for Ornithology. We will learn how our gardens have a value for wildlife and a role to play in conservation and biodiversity! Why not come along and join us - new members always very welcome!!

This week it’s the Suffolk Show and SEFWI will be having a stand there - STAND 349 in the RED zone grid reference S5!

There will be teas, coffee, cakes and lots more along with a wonderful display of various crafts from all our local WI’s!

Haughley WI have entered a photo into the category “Light and Shade”. It was taken by Mandy and features the old Maltings on Ipswich waterfront.
