We were delighted to welcome two classes from Willow Tree Primary to The Harrogate Story today. Students explored the history of Harrogate, completed a quiz and word search, and discovered the unique smell of the town's famous sulphur water.

A fantastic visit all round and we look forward to welcoming another class later this week.

West Park Centre and The Harrogate Story is open tomorrow, Saturday, from 10.30am to 12.30 only. We apologise to all those who like to pop in on a Saturday afternoon!

It was good to be able to host the meeting at the West Park Centre.

Thank you to all the electors of Harrogate who joined us for the Annual Town Meeting on Wednesday at West Park URC. It was great to see such a strong turnout and to hear from residents, partners and community groups about the topics that matter most across our town.

Your engagement and contributions are instrumental in helping to shape Harrogate’s future, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who took the time to speak or ask questions.

We look forward to continuing these important conversations and working together for the benefit of our community.

This bank holiday weekend, why not visit West Park Centre, explore the Harrogate Story, to find out all about the history of the Spa town, then grab yourself some town trails and head off to discover Harrogate.

Why not pop into the new visitor information centre at West Park Centre, 1 Victoria Avenue, Harrogate and pick up some of the town trails? Open 10.30- 3pm tomorrow (Saturday) and Monday.

The Harrogate Story at West Park Centre is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
The Visitor Information Centre is also open to welcome visitors to Harrogate and to help them make the most of their stay.
Free Trail Guides available to guide you around brown plaques, floral highlights and churches. www.westparkcentre.org.uk

Exciting things are happening at The West Park Centre — the development of a vibrant community hub, event space, welcoming café, and visitor information point at the heart of the town.

Visitors will be able to discover Harrogate and explore the heritage of the spa through The Harrogate Story exhibition, browse visitor information, enjoy refreshments in the café, and then head out to explore everything the town and surrounding area have to offer.

Help us make this a thriving hub for Harrogate. We are looking for volunteers to support events, help in the café, and assist with the exhibition and visitor information.
