Daisy Cooper MP and I have again urged the government to reject Luton airport expansion ✈️

It would go against the govt’s own climate advisors’ opposition to airport expansion until an emissions framework is in place. It would be devastating for local infrastructure and noise.

Winter Support event at the EMC - 18th November

Age UK Hertfordshire, in partnership with Hospital Community Navigation Service and Hertfordshire County Council, are running a series of 100 + drop in events across Hertfordshire over the winter months to help reach our older communities to raise awareness of the wider support available to those hardest hit by the Winter Fuel Payment changes.

Warm in Winter bags are now available at High Street Methodist Church and the Batford Methodist Church for anyone over the age of 55.

If you, or someone you know, would benefit from this freebie please pop in during their warm spaces opening hours:
Batford Methodist Church is open on Fridays 10am - 1pm.
High Street Methodist Church is open 10am – 12pm Mondays – Saturdays and their 'Souper Lunches' open on Thursday afternoons from 12-2pm on: 7th November, 21st November, 5th December, 19th December serving delicious home-made hot soup, payment is by donation only.
