We’ve been busy in the gardens this week. A huge thank you to all our wonderful helpers yesterday. The gardens are looking neat and tidy, and the bark chippings supplied by GVA are now down. You may also spot some lovely new signs around the gardens!

Special thanks to Julie at Artful Stars for creating and painting the beautiful artwork, and to Marcus from Scouts for making the signs.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone for your understanding following the Halloween news we shared yesterday. We have received so many lovely comments and messages, which have reaffirmed just how much it means to you all. We will be back! 🎃💚

🎃 A Halloween announcement from GRO🎃

It’s not an easy one for us to share, but after much thought, we’ve made the decision to take a fallow year from our Halloween event in 2026.

With pre-booked holidays, other commitments and the number of volunteers we have available, we just can’t give the event the time, energy and magic it deserves this year 🧡

We know just how much our Halloween event has come to mean to our community. Year after year, you’ve turned up in your amazing costumes, brought your little witches, wizards, ghosts and ghouls, and helped make it such a special part of Greetland 👻🎃

Please rest assured this is NOT goodbye! It’s simply a little pause so we can come back bigger, better and ready to make some more spooky memories together.

And in the meantime… we still want to see your spooky fun! 👻🕷️🎃 please share all your Halloween, trick-or-treating and spooky pictures with us.

2027…THE WITCHES WILL BE BACK! 🔮🧙‍♀️👻🕸️
