Last year Bike Active North Suffolk – BANS was pleased to be asked to lend one of our handcycles to Steve Brown, presenter of Escape To The Country.

Steve cycled The Wolf Way as it passes through Halesworth Millennium Green as part of the episode that will air on Monday 15th June on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

It was a pleasure to meet Steve, the production crew from Naked Television and Chris from The Wolf Way.

If you'd like to follow in his tyre tracks, you can join us on one of our rides. We have a wide range of adaptive cycles suitable for all abilities. ❤🚲

We'll be there, we'd love it if you came and said hello 👋🏻

Every week is 🚲 week to us but this one is extra special and for everyone. ❤️🚲

It's Bike Week! 🚲

Today marks the start of Bike Week, the UK's biggest celebration of cycling, organised by Cycling UK. From people rediscovering cycling after years away from the saddle to those who ride every day, Bike Week is all about celebrating the positive impact cycling can have on our health, wellbeing, communities and environment 🧡

At Wheels for All, we believe cycling should be accessible to everyone. Every week, we see first-hand the difference that inclusive cycling can make – building confidence, creating friendships, improving physical and mental wellbeing, and opening up new opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

Whether you're joining us at one of our Hubs, heading out with friends and family, or getting back on a bike for the first time in years, Bike Week is the perfect time to celebrate the joy and freedom that cycling can bring!

This year Cycling UK have organised two events for Bike Week - Bike Week Brunch and The Big Bike Revival - follow the link below to see how you can get involved in your area, and make sure to tag us if you take your adapted cycle along to any of these events this week, we'd love to celebrate cycling in all its forms! 🚲✨
