Join us at the Pear Tree centre on Friday 27th November 7pm-9pm, Adnams will be providing us with a selection of w**es to sample, accompanied with artisinal cheeses to enjoy.

As part of Baby loss awareness week Halesworth St Marys Church are hosting an event this week on Thursday 15th October at 6:45pm.

At the Pear Tree Centre we know that so many people are sadly affected by pregnancy and baby loss so we wanted to share this lovely event in case any of our followers wished to share or attend.

Our Meet Father Christmas tickets are now available to purchase!

Father Christmas is visiting the Pear Tree centre for one day only on 5th December from 10am until 4pm. Tickets are available in hourly slots: 10am-11am, 11am-12pm, 1pm-2pm, 2pm-3pm & 3pm-4pm.

Tickets cost £10 per child, each child will have time with Father Christmas to give him their wish list, have a keepsake photograph and will receive a gift. There will be activities available whilst you wait along with mince pies, teas coffees and squash available to purchase.

As always any money raised will help our charity to keep supporting the people who walk through our doors needing support.

On September 25th we hosted a Macmillan coffee morning at the centre. A big thank-you to everyone who joined us and a special thanks to Pauline for bringing in a few treats to share. We've donated £63.45 to Macmillan cancer support.

We work closely with other support agencies here at the Pear Tree such as Macmillan to ensure we can always signpost the people who walk through our doors needing help to the most useful and relevant support available.

Check out our biggest supporters, the fab team at 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 have some great events coming up this October including a Halloween themed music bingo, this wonderful pub recently raised £1000 with their Sea Shanties evening and continue to blow us away with their fundraising events! The Pear Tree Fund hosted an art exhibition last week to showcase the incredible pieces of work created by its art wellbeing group members this term. It was fantastic to see all of this talent displayed at the centre and for the group members to share their creations with family and friends.

What is Art therapy? Art Therapy uses creative expression, rather than conversation alone, as the primary way to process emotions, reduce stress, and work through psychological challenges. It’s to use the act of creating as a pathway into thoughts and feelings that might be difficult to put into words.
