🌞 What a weekend! 🚜

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Country Fair at Merrist Wood such a resounding success this weekend.

To our visitors, stallholders, entertainers, volunteers, staff, exhibitors, activity & wellbeing providers and partners, thank you for bringing so much energy, enthusiasm and community spirit to the event. It was a fantastic and truly positive partnership with Merrist Wood College.

With beautiful sunshine overhead and just under 6,000 visitors through the gates, it was wonderful to see families and friends enjoying all the activities on offer, meeting farm and exotic animals, discovering local food and drink, and supporting the incredible local businesses, makers and producers who make our region so special.

☀️ The good news? There's another fantastic Surrey Hills event to look forward to...

What a fantastic first day at the Country Fair at Merrist Wood today! ☀️

The checklist is looking pretty good so far...:

Yesterday we hosted our twice-yearly Business Services Member Showcase at Clandon Wood and what a perfect venue to witness the changing weather: rain, shifting clouds, a bit of sunshine, and a rainbow all visible through the glass-panelled walls.

It was a brilliant evening as always. A chance for members to step a little deeper into what each other do, share updates, and connect properly in a setting that always feels unique.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a warm, positive evening and especially to Simon Ferrar, who is such a fun, welcoming presence and clearly so passionate about what he’s created there.

This year we are introducing the brand new Wellness Village: a calm and restorative space designed to help you slow down, recharge and try something new.

Across the weekend, you can take part in a beautiful programme of taster sessions and experiences inspired by movement, mindfulness and nature. Some sessions are free, others have a small fee, and places are limited.

A few examples include:

🌬️ Breathwork and mindfulness workshops
🔔 Sound bath and relaxation experiences
