⚡Nirvana: 35 years of Nevermind⚡
Saturday 19th September 2026

The Boileroom presents a celebration of Nirvana: 35 Years of Never Mind, performed by Nirvanah.

Seattle’s own Nirvana remains one of the most influential rock bands of the late 20th century, spearheading the grunge movement that redefined popular music. Fronted by Kurt Cobain, alongside Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl, the trio blended raw emotion with punk urgency and melodic hooks. Their 1991 album Nevermind catapulted them from underground heroes to global icons, fueled by the breakout single “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” The band’s meteoric rise and Cobain’s tragic death in 1994 cemented their legacy as cultural touchstones. In 2026, Nevermind will mark its 35th anniversary, a testament to its enduring power and generational impact.

⚡Norman Jay MBE⚡
Friday 18th September 2026

Tap into a rare groove as the UK dance scene pioneer and Notting Hill Carnival legend come to the venue this Christmas and plays tracks that shaped UK music. One of the most respected DJs in the world today, Norman Jay MBE is a hallowed name in the UK dance music scene. As the co-founder of dance music station KISS FM and the iconic Good Times sound system, and the driving force behind the rare groove scene of the 1990s, Jay’s four-decade career has seen him continuously pushing the boundaries of the UK’s club culture.

After years of spinning the wheels of the Good Times Fun Bus at Notting Hill Carnival, his signature sounds are transported to the decks of the Royal Festival Hall for a legendary Good Times party. Spinning tunes that span multiple genres and cultures, with exciting new sounds alongside the iconic beats that made these artists legends, this electrifying event is a chance to see a lineup of UK musical icons on one stage, and promises serious Good Times all round.

The Incureables , London's five piece tribute to The Cure, are coming to Boileroom this November🎸

Hotter than a Fire In Cairo, these 5 Imaginary Boys (who don't cry) are London's primary tribute to Crawley's finest Goth pop institution. With an uncanny resemblance physically and vocally (once the syrup’s on) to Bob Smith, author, raconteur and music promoter Andy Macleod fronts this Faith-ful and fun Cure homage playing hits and deep cuts from The Cure's back catalogue.

‘Close your eyes and it’s The Cure, open your eyes and it’s The Cure’, Simon Williams, Fierce Panda Records

They sold out the 100 Club in March, their Chelmsford show later this month has sold out too, they play the 620 capacity 229 in London next week, and in January they headline an all dayer at the Electric Ballroom in Camden. They play the whole catalogue, the hits and the deep cuts, and they've never played Guildford before.

The one and only Liam Bailey this October at Boileroom!

Nottingham born singer/songwriter Liam Bailey is noted for his soul, reggae, and blues influenced vocal style. A seasoned artist with a definitive sweeping style he has been compared to the likes of Otis Reading, Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, Bob Marley and Dennis Brown.

Liam blends his unmistakable sounds with a mix of genres to co-produce tracks with big industry names. After releasing two debut solo EPs recorded entirely By Bailey himself and his guitar for Amy Winehouse’s Lioness Records, his definitive style was picked up by Chase and Status who he continues to tour with after co-producing the dubstep/drum and bass classic hit ‘Blind Faith’. He then went on to collaborate on their solo ‘Big Man’ which reached Top 6 on the UK Dance Chart.

Gaining traction for his smooth style and energy, Liam signed to Polydor Records and followed with his debut album release Definitely Now in the US on Flying Buddha/Sony in 2014. He recently co released the album Ekundayo Inversions in 2021 which primarily features soul, reggae and groove whilst relying on Liam’s signature vocals to deliver authentic sounds.
Liam now focuses on blending his authentic, lo-fi soul sounds with dancehall and classic 70s-80s funk to constantly deliver vibrant, eclectic and highly entertaining sounds made for listening live.
