🏆 OUR CHAIR IS A NATIONAL FINALIST! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to announce that our Chair, Sophia, has been shortlisted for PTA Volunteer of the Year in the 2026 National PTA Awards! 🎉

Many of our families will have witnessed the transformation of Friends of Christ’s College over the past five years, so it is wonderful to see Sophia’s contribution recognised nationally.

Parentkind has described Candidate G as:

💙 “Inspiring others through resilience and leadership”

Now it’s down to a public vote and we’d love the support of our FCC community!

🗳️ PLEASE VOTE FOR CANDIDATE G

🍩 Happy World Teachers’ Day! 🍩

Today, Friends of Christ’s College celebrated our brilliant FCC staff by gifting 5 boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts as a little thank you for everything they do for our students. 💙

But that’s not all… 👀

We’ve also helped the Student Leadership Team with another BIG surprise for the staff. 🤫✨

Watch this space… all will be revealed soon!

📸 This photo of Mr Owen was actually taken last year. Sadly he wasn’t in school today, so we officially owe him a doughnut on his return! 🍩😂

💙💛 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE OPEN EVENING! 💛💙

A HUGE thank you to all our fabulous FCC volunteers who gave up their evening to help at Christ’s College Open Evening last night! 🙌

Another phenomenal success and genuinely one of my personal favourite events of the school year!

There’s something so special about seeing the whole school buzzing with enthusiastic students and staff proudly showcasing their departments, talents and the incredible work our students produce.

Even our awesome catering team get involved, offering delicious tasters from their fantastic school lunch menu! 😋

It’s such a wonderful opportunity for prospective families to experience what makes Christ’s College so special, and they always seem to leave happy, excited and looking forward to becoming part of our school community.

And, of course, FCC were there keeping everyone refreshed and stocked up on sweet treats! 🍬🥤 We raised over £450! 🎉

Every penny will be invested straight back into the school, helping us continue to support our students and enhance their school experience.

A massive thank you to the student leadership team who gave us a lovely mention, highlighting the importance of having such a wonderful sense of community and how we bridge the gap between home and school. To everyone who volunteered, donated, purchased refreshments or simply stopped by to say hello. We couldn’t do it without you!

What a fantastic school community we have! 💙

💡 I’ve just saved money on my energy bills AND raised £21 for Friends of Christ’s College – without spending a penny extra! 🎉

With energy prices set to rise, I decided it was time to look at switching my energy supplier.

Rather than going directly to a comparison website, I logged into easyfundraising, compared my options and secured a new energy deal with Uswitch that will save me money on my bills for the next THREE YEARS! ⚡🏡

And the best bit?

💛 Friends of Christ’s College received a whopping £21 donation from Uswitch just because I switched through easyfundraising!

It’s such a simple way to support FCC while doing things you would be doing anyway.

Whether you’re switching energy suppliers, renewing insurance, booking a holiday or shopping online, thousands of retailers will make a donation to FCC when you click through easyfundraising.

Every donation helps FCC provide additional equipment, resources and opportunities for the students at Christ’s College.

Want to help? It takes just a couple of minutes to register!
