While we all reflect on this sad period, we're keeping our eyes on what's to come! Change is exciting and we can't wait to find out what's next.

Thank you to our GB Chaplain, Rev. Jonathan Fleming, of our friends at the Lyle Kirk at Union Street for this beautiful, reflective message.

Thank you to all the girls, leaders, officers and families that have been part of GB Scotland's mission šŸ

We'd like to share the following from GB Scotland. While it's sad news, please remember, the 7th Greenock don't plan on going anywhere!

We'll have more to say in the future so keep an eye out for more from us.

May the Lord bless you. Good luck Rev Dougie on your journey in ministry.

Meet Rev. Dougie Adam
Preaching as Sole Nominee of the linked charge of Greenock Wellpark Mid Kirk & Port Glasgow Hamilton Bardrainney on Sunday 3 May 2026

Hamilton Bardrainney Kirk @ 10am
Wellpark Mid Kirk @ 11:30am

Dougie Adam is a Church of Scotland minister with nearly three decades of ministry, mission, and youth work experience across Scotland. With a heart for sharing Jesus’ love and a passion for helping people of all ages engage with faith, Dougie has spent his ministry combining pastoral care, Bible teaching, and innovative local mission. He particularly enjoyed his 13 months serving as Assistant Minister with Greenock Wellpark Mid Kirk and Port Glasgow Hamilton Bardrainney in 2024 and 2025.

Before ordained ministry, Dougie devoted 15 years as a schools worker with Scripture Union Scotland, building strong partnerships between churches and schools to help young people explore faith in meaningful ways. His earlier work as a parish assistant with the Church of Scotland’s National Mission also laid strong foundations for his lifelong commitment to intergenerational ministry and community transformation.

Known for his collaborative spirit, Dougie brings energy, creativity, and experience to the role—alongside, it must be said, a truly dreadful taste in football teams and music for which he remains completely unapologetic.
