A huge thanks to all our networkers and supporting team for volunteering their time at the Jamborette this year, we had folk all across the field in QM, multiple subcamps, welfare, activities, catering, admin, reception and events! Just about every team there was they were on it!

We are so proud of our networkers 🙌🏼👏🏻 What a week for Greenock Network at Holyrood Palace!

Friday had some of our networkers celebrating completing their Gold Duke of Edinburgh, a massive achievement and a massive leap towards your KSA’s. Joe even got to chat to the Duke himself! A huge thanks to Inverclyde DofE! We could not be prouder of you all! 👑

A huge well done to one our networkers for volunteering their time to help the day run smoothly!👏🏻

On Tuesday our co-lead Meg was invited to the Royal Garden Party with co-DLV Mark for their dedication to scouts at Greenock and District Scouts and West Region Scouts! They were joined by co-lead Matt and Network Team Member Heather. We are incredibly thankful for everything they give to scouting!⚜️

Help Shape the Future of Scouting in Greenock & District

We're building our new District Section Support Teams and are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support and develop Scouting across the District.

We're looking for people to support:

🐿️ Squirrels
🦫 Beavers
🐺 Cubs
🏕️ Scouts
🧭 Explorers
🌐 Network (Building on the fantastic work already underway, we're looking to start building a team to support the future of Network towards the end of the year.)

These are flexible, rewarding roles focused on supporting local volunteers, helping deliver District events, sharing ideas and creating amazing opportunities for young people.

You don't need to do it alone! We're keen to hear from:
🤝 Individuals
🤝 People who'd like to share a role
🤝 Small teams who'd like to work together

Whether you're passionate about programme delivery, organising events, mentoring volunteers or simply want to help Scouting thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
