Did you know that the Scottish Childminding Association is holding online information sessions for anyone interested in becoming a childminder? You can attend a free, online ‘Discover Childminding’ session to find out more about becoming a childminder and the support available to get started.

What will be covered?

⭐Information about the fantastic package available to get started, including one-to-one support from a dedicated SCMA Workforce Officer, free online training and a minimum £750 business start-up grant.
⭐Ask the Scottish Childminding Association’s knowledgeable and friendly team any questions.
⭐Hear how a career in childminding works for others, and could work for you too.

Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde are delighted to be starting a new Mellow Bumps course on Wednesday 3rd September. 💛

This 7-week programme is designed to support pregnant people who are around 20–30 weeks gestation, helping to promote wellbeing, reduce stress and build a positive relationship with baby before birth. 🤰💕

We’re pleased to have Enable Works delivering a Click Safe session from Boglestone Hub, helping to make this valuable training more accessible to parents and carers within our local community. 💙

Click Safe supports parents, carers, employability practitioners and other professionals to feel more confident in understanding the online experiences of young people and the potential risks they may encounter.

The session will explore current online trends, social media and gaming, Artificial Intelligence (AI), online harms, practical safety measures and how we can have positive conversations with young people about staying safe online.
