✨ ROOM AVAILABLE FOR HIRE – DODDS McFADYEN CENTRE ✨

Looking for a flexible space that can be set up around exactly what you need?

Our large room at the Dodds McFadyen Centre, Greenock is available to hire and can be completely adapted depending on your event, class, meeting or activity.

The room can be set up as a boardroom, with space for up to 20 people, or changed to theatre-style seating for presentations, talks and training sessions. Tables can also be arranged in different layouts for workshops, meetings or full training days.

It’s also ideal for something a little different — including craft birthday parties, glam day birthday for small group parties, 1:1 personal training, fitness sessions, sound bath experiences, wellbeing classes and small group activities.

For fitness or wellbeing use, the room can be fully matted out, while for business bookings we can arrange tables and seating to suit your requirements. We also have access to a projector, TV, kitchen facilities, parking, CCTV and office equipment.

The best part is that it’s a genuinely flexible space — we can change the layout as and when required to suit your booking.

We’re looking to gauge interest in something a little different at the Dodds McFadyen Centre 👀🚴‍♀️

We’re considering offering a self-service Peloton Bike room, available to book privately by the hour.

You’d have access to the Peloton Bike and the full range of Peloton classes, so your session could be completely your own. For example, you could do 30 minutes on the bike followed by 30 minutes of yoga, stretching, strength or meditation.

It could be ideal if you’d love to use Peloton but don’t want the cost or space of having a bike at home, or if you simply prefer exercising somewhere private rather than in a busy gym.

The idea would be:

* Private room
* Bookable by the hour
* Peloton Bike included
* Access to a huge selection of Peloton classes
* Mix and match your workout however you like
* No gym membership required

At the moment we’re simply seeing whether there would be enough interest to introduce it.

We sit here struggling to find the words to describe the feelings and emotions our family are experiencing right now following the sudden passing of our beloved Dad, Grandad (DA)and husband, Donald “Dodds”MacFadyen Dodds Mac

Our hearts are absolutely shattered. The pain is something we know will never truly go away; it’s something we will simply learn to live with.

What gives us such deep comfort is seeing just how many lives our dad touched throughout Inverclyde. During his years as a youth worker, he had an incredible impact on so many young people. The messages, stories and memories that have been shared with us over the last few days are a true testament to the kind of man he was.

He never judged anyone. He listened, protected, guided and advised with kindness, compassion and complete trust. People naturally turned to him because they knew they would be heard and supported. He helped so many people through difficult times, and so many have gone on to build happy, successful lives thanks to the encouragement and guidance he gave them.

As his family, we couldn’t be prouder to have called him our dad, grandad and husband. Knowing how deeply he was loved and respected throughout our community brings us enormous comfort during the hardest time of our lives.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with your kind words, memories and support. Every message means more than you could possibly know.

We will share funeral arrangements in due course.

Recently I purchased legal pepper spray keyrings, this is due to me travelling extensively, and lately feel more unsafe than ever. I decided to take action and we will be looking to run some self-defence classes. Price depends on demand but will be small groups.
