Independent historic, planning & architectural consultant in East Anglia; listed buildings, conservation areas & sensitive sites

I am an independent local Historic Buildings Consultant, architect and planner. I have more than 25 years’ experience working with listed buildings, conservation areas and other historic assets, big and small. My clients include English Heritage, the National Trust and the Landmark Trust. I give a listening service, providing design solutions and options to best suit your circumstances; and making best use of your building. If you want to upgrade or extend; make it cheaper to run; or encounter problems with the structure or with damp, I can provide you with options and solutions to target the areas where your investment is the most effective. Having over 10 years’ experience working within local authority planning departments, I give an informed professional service that takes the stress out of applying for planning consents. I also provide building histories, such as illustrated records of the development and importance of your building and its surroundings; for your own interest, a present to someone, or to support an application. I provide a prompt reliable knowledgeable service that saves you time, money & mistakes, and look forward to hearing from you.
