A successful gardening day with Bloomin Bo’ness.

It was a lovely afternoon spent connecting, getting our hands dirty, and giving a little back to the local community. Together, we helped clear and prepare the boat roundabout ahead of Fair Day, and it is already looking so much brighter.

We are really proud to have been part of this project and to spend time with such a welcoming group of people. These moments of connection, fresh air, and shared purpose are what Q***r Breakfast Club is all about.

Big q***r movie and craft night incoming 🎬🌈

This Friday we’re turning Q***r Breakfast Club into a cosy wee cinema and Pride art studio in one. We’ll be watching PRIDE (2014) – the film about q***r activists teaming up with striking miners in the 80s – and then making our own placards to take to upcoming Pride marches.

Q***r Breakfast Club is a relaxed, peer-led group for LGBTIQ+ adults and allies – you don’t need to know anyone or have been before to come along. Just show up as you are, bring a pal if you like, and feel free to bring extra snacks or crafty bits to share.

If you’re nervous or coming for the first time, drop us a message and we’ll happily meet you at the door and get you settled in.

On Saturday the 13th we shall be connecting and getting green fingers with local community project Bloomin Bo’ness.

In preparation for their Fair Day volunteers are welcome to join us in a little bit of gardening fun in Bo’ness centre to help remove weeds and prepare the boat roundabout to be transformed into a wonderful flower display. No experience needed just a happy attitude to spend some time outdoors with like minded people.

Meet at 11am at car park across from Corvi’s chippy.
Please wear appropriate clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. All equipment will be provided on the day. Come along for as long or as little as you like.

This Pride, we’re celebrating our local LGBTIQ+ community in Falkirk & Grangemouth – and everyone who shows up, supports, and shares snacks with us. Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming space where q***r folks and allies of all ages can connect and have real, meaningful conversations.

Whether you’re out, questioning, quietly curious, or showing up as an ally, you’re welcome at QBC. Come as you are and know you’ll be met with kindness and community.

Q***r Breakfast Club is back this Friday evening and we’ve got a gorgeous, green-fingered guest joining us 🌱🌈

This week, we’re welcoming Lorna from Bloomin’ Bo’ness, a brilliant volunteer-led group who help make their town look loved and cared for all year round through community gardening and improvement projects. She’ll be sharing what they do, how it connects to community pride and wellbeing, and the different ways we can get involved and support their work.

As always, Q***r Breakfast Club is a relaxed, peer-led space for LGBTIQ+ adults and allies to hang out, meet new people, and just be ourselves without pressure.

You don’t need to know anyone in advance, or have been before – just turn up as you are. If you’re new or feeling nervous, you’re very welcome to bring a pal or drop us a message beforehand so we can look out for you.

Come along, connect with local community organisers, and help us grow something beautiful together.
