GCGC are back in full swing, feeling the gospel vibe which we are bringing to the Inn on the Lake on 20th November and announcing our annual Christmas showcase on December 11th at St John's Church, Farncombe.

We are also very proud to be sharing the sounds of the Season with ChoirBlast on Saturday, 12th December at the Minster, Godalming as part of their "CHOIRBLAST does Christmas 2026" so encourage and invite you all to attend that evening of sound and wonder for what is truly a unique community event.

GCGC are back in full swing after our summer break, having enjoyed our summer events with ChoirBlast and also at Jubilee House, we are now rehearsing hard at The Minster, Godalming each Monday evening in preparation for our upcoming events in November and December.

We are relishing our new leadership - Tim Uffindell has joined us as Choir Director and his wealth of knowledge and experience of leading gospel choirs makes for very upbeat and energetic Monday evenings! We are challenged, stretched and learning loads to enhance our own experience and that of our audiences so we are excited for our next performances.

We also sang our hearts out to Vaughan Larmond at the end of the term. Vaughan has been our accompanist for 8+ years and now is moving on to new adventures and experiences. We are so very sad to see him go but know that we have had the best of experiences under his musical leadership. His talents are awesome, he has led us beautifully and we shall miss him heaps! Our deepest gratitude to him for all these years, may his path forward be wide open, full of joy and success!

Trust Me (Richard Smallwood) - happened to be the last song we sang under Russell's direction... memorable moment, many smiles and gratefulness for this mad but much loved man. GCGC are privileged to have had Russell in our lives, a talented young man who now moves on to more opportunities, may his path be full and free.
