Come along to the Wee School this Thursday evening for a wee bit of philosophical contemplation. You don't need to know anything about philosophy, the only thing you need is a curious mind.

Our question for Socrates Cafe this week is: "Should we live with regret?"

By looking at this question in a philosophic way we can ask: "What is regret?" "What does it mean to live with regret?" "is it good or bad to live with regret?"....and so on.

It's not a stretch to say that we live in an increasingly polarised society. We hope that Socrates Cafe can become a place where people get together, ditch the devices, and have meaningful conversations that push past political and social divides and remind us that we're all in this life thing together.

We hope to see you there!

2 WEEKS TO GO!!!

The School children of Girvan and the surrounding villages have had a super fun, messy and creative time making their owl lanterns for the parade!

We have loved seeing all the fabulous characters emerge- owls with top hats, bows, funny eyebrows, hypnotic eyes, and expressions a'plenty.

Don't forget The Wee School Art Space is open today for drop in lantern making 10am - 5pm and all next week (10am - 5pm Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri and evening session Wednesday 1pm - 8pm).
