**Gillingham is growing — but how do we help it feel more connected?**
With more housing and more people moving into the area, Gillingham has huge potential.
But growth alone does not automatically create community spirit, town-centre activity or a thriving local feel.
That is part of what Gillingham Rising is about.
We want to help create more reasons for people to come into town, spend locally, connect with others and feel proud of where they live.
This starts with small steps, local events and community involvement — and grows from there.
