So as Autumn and it's annual festivals and celebrations quickly pass, do you have children and young people who find November 5th hard? Not everyone likes the noise and look of fireworks. This is the case in our household.

I found this firework and bubble machine on Amazon last year. It sprays bubbles and lights to give a firework effect that can be turned off and controlled easily and safely. We use it alongside glowsticks and sparklers. This way our children can access the celebration without getting dysregulated and overwhelmed. The machine plays firework noises or music so everyone can choose how they want to use it.

Don't forget to come to our parent workshop on Monday 2nd November at Greenbanks Children's Centre in Margate. A non-judgemental, supportive space to not only get ideas for how to support your child but how to cope with stress yourself. In collaboration with Shift Within CIC and For Us Too. Well that was a spooky morning! Thank you to all the wonderful, ghosts, skeletons, witches, dinosaurs and everyone else in their wonderful costumes for making it such a great party, thank you to Rose-Ann and Maddie for running a glitter tattoo table, it was very popular! To Leo and Jack for helping set up, and then Beth, Emma and the amazing Elouise for helping with the clean up! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Smyths Toys have a small selection of free Lego grab bags available this morning. Choices are this set,a black and red technic car or a three stemmed botanticals set. We have just been in and there are about 60 sets left 🥰 Not only is Lego fun but it helps with coordination, concentration and fine motor as well as a whole host of other skills!

Our Education Project is growing weekly, we are watching social skills growing, relationships forming, confidence blossoming, and a wonderful group of parents/carers chatting, laughing and supporting each other. We cherish these few hours. We would like to thank our amazing families for consistently supporting this wonderful group ❤️

Something different at Art today, Brian played music from films which we all talked about, how each piece fitted the film, then he played us a piece of music, then asked people to sketch what we felt, next time they will be painted. The art group is growing with new faces, it's just such a perfect few hours ❤️
