🍽️💙 THE WELCOME TABLE - THURSDAY 11TH JUNE 💙🍽️

Join us at the Heart of the Hub Café at The HUB Fleetwood this Thursday from 5:00pm for another welcoming evening of good food, friendly faces, support and community connection.

This week we're celebrating The Eden Project's Big Lunch as part of the national Week of Community, bringing local people together to share a meal, make new connections and access support in a relaxed and welcoming space.

A huge thank you to Scotch Bakery this week who will be providing a delicious selection of free hot meals, including lasagne, pasta bake and hot pot. 😋

There will also be fun activities throughout the evening and the opportunity to speak with local organisations including:
✨ Fleetwood Area Police
✨ Positive Futures
✨ Volunteering Support
✨ Cost of Living Support Services
✨ Children & Family Wellbeing Service

Everyone is welcome. Whether you're looking for support, hoping to meet new people, or simply fancy a free meal and a friendly chat, we'd love to see you there.

Ron's Run Fleetwood 2026 is a 1-mile fun run/jog/walk/push this Sunday - open to all and where the entry is a donation of food items to The Pantry Food Bank - Fleetwood.

You can also donated period products for girls and women, to be distributed in the community by Ember and Blossom CIC.

There's no need to pre-register, just come along on the day with your family and friends to enjoy the fresh air, the stunning views across Morecambe Bay and sense of community, and support a great cause. Children welcome, accompanied by an adult, will receive a certificate to say they completed the mile.

Ron's Run was founded by Luke Helmn who has just completed 5 marathons in 5 days raising funds for The Big Food Project!

The Walnut Tree - Wyre are joining us this morning in the Heart of Hub Cafe for their monthly drop-in.

Chat with Anne, John and Robert about the support and services available in Fleetwood and across Wyre for people with dementia and other debilitating conditions.

There's no need to book and it's free to attend ... from 10am to around 12 noon.

He's taking on a Tough Mudder UK event to raise funds for One Fylde and the work they do supporting and empowering adults with learning difficulties.

𝗔𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗨𝗕 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱, 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘆.

All the partners will return to normal hours from Tuesday 26th May except for Blackpool and The Fylde College. also closed for the full week. Students should check their timetables and messages for their next class.

There's one additional change to opening hours for tomorrow, Thursday 21st May - the Healthier Fleetwood Information Centre is closing early at 1.30pm, as a one-off.
