🎶🎶. We’ve supported Farsley Festival every year since we became a choir and we’ll be there again on Saturday!
We’ll be singing some well known songs so come along & join with us for some musical fun, don’t be shy just have a good time!
We’re on after Rise Dance & Rosso Mini Mercury so we’ll be carrying on the happy vibes! 🎶

Today we were invited to the VIP Celebration Event for Martin House Children's Hospice when Gareth Southgate officially opened the extension to this wonderful hospice.
We enjoyed the tea & cake but it’s a big thank you to everyone who came along to our Summer Concert last July, bought tickets, raffle tickets & put all their cash into the collection buckets that helped us to raise £2200 & help Martin House to achieve their target.

🌳 June is Great Outdoors Month! 🌳

We’re looking forward to taking part in Farsley Festival on 20 June 🎶 – a fantastic day celebrating local talent, community spirit and everything that makes Farsley such a great place to live.

🎶 While we’re enjoying a short half-term break, the countdown to our Summer Concert continues! 🎶

This year, we’re proud to be supporting 💛 Refresh Carers Leeds 💛

Refresh Carers Leeds is a local charity supporting unpaid parent carers of children, young people and adults with disabilities and long-term health conditions across Leeds and West Yorkshire.

Through wellbeing support, workshops and opportunities to connect with others, they help carers feel supported, valued and less isolated.

Every ticket purchased and every donation made at our Summer Concert will help support their incredible work in our community.

🎤 Get to know our members 🎶
Meet Katie Windle — usually singing Alto 💛

Katie has been part of Farsley Village Singers for over 3 years, but her love of music goes back much further. After enjoying singing at school and having lessons as a teenager, she joined the choir once her children were both in primary school — wanting to do something just for her ✨

Her favourite part of choir?
🎶 The performances — but also those rehearsals where you leave feeling happy and accomplished (especially if there’s cake involved! 🍰)

Favourite songs?
🌈 True Colours in the summer
🎄 And plenty of Christmas songs — for the nostalgia

In one word, choir is uplifting 💫
