🔔 When the Belles met the bells … 🔔

Thank you so much to the Badsey Bellringers for a fabulous evening introducing us to the art of bell ringing in our local church. We were very lucky to hear a little about the history of ringing bells before going up the tower to see the experts in action before having a go at chiming the bells ourselves (apologies to our neighbours! 😂) We all had a brilliant time and would recommend anyone visiting the bell tower when they have their open days and recruitment events.

Our next meeting will be on 1 July back at the Remembrance Hall and we will be hearing from a local beekeeper all about bees and then we will try our hands at making beeswax candles to take home. All women over 18 are welcome to join us and we would love to see you there! 🐝

💕 Badsey Belles’ Bra-tastic Tea Party 💕

We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting a Tea Party to raise money for our charity of the year, Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven! The party will be held in one our committee member’s beautiful gardens and there will be tea, cake, chat and laughter!

Everyone is welcome to come and join us to help raise money for this fantastic charity. We hope to see you there!

🩷💚 We are very excited to launch our programme for 2026/27! 💚🩷

Jam-packed with a wide variety of activities and speakers, we hope that there is something there for everyone.

Non-members are very welcome to come along to our meetings for £10 a ticket - all women over 18 are welcome.

🧁 Join us for our Annual Meeting followed by a tea party with fun, games and cake! 🧁

This is great opportunity to come and catch up with friends - and make some new ones too. You can also find out more about our fabulous WI, listening to what we have been up to over the past year and we will be launching our programme for the coming year. We look forward to seeing you there!

💜 International Women’s Day 2026 💜

A lovely muddy walk today to celebrate International Women’s Day with our families and four-legged friends. Lots of laughs, great chat, and a well-deserved drink in the pub to finish!

💜 Walk for International Women’s Day with the Badsey Belles 💜

The Badsey Belles will be supporting IWD26 by inviting family and friends to join them for a social walk around the village followed by a drink at The Wheatsheaf.

🌟Join the Badsey Belles for a Bingo Night! 🌟

The WI will be hosting a fabulous and fun-filled bingo night on 4 March from 7.30pm at Badsey Remembrance Hall. There will be a range of prizes so plenty to play for!

As always, our meeting is open to all women over 18. The evening will be free for our members and £10 for guests (payable in cash on the door).
